Your reaction to AI isn’t random. It’s your personality style on full display.
I feel prompted to tell you more.
🦅 Eagles: Use AI to be productive
Eagles are all about speed, results, and power. So, when AI came along promising faster output and strategic advantage, they were all in.
“If this saves me time and helps me get things done, I’ll use it.”
AI challenge: Eagles may implement AI tools before fully understanding how to fully capitalize on its power.
🦜 Parrots: Use AI to play
Parrots got excited that AI could help them brainstorm, make videos, create pictures, write punchy letters, and even generate unicorn memes. For Parrots, AI is fun!
“This is amazing! Look what it just made for me. Ooooh, and this!”
AI challenge: Parrots like to try new things, but they may lose interest when shine wears off.
🕊 Doves: Use AI to help others (once they trust it)
Doves seek to maintain stability. They’re loyal, caring, and empathetic. AI may have felt too impersonal and lacking a human touch. But once they see it can help them support others more effectively, they soften.
“If this can make things easier for my team, I’ll give it a try.”
AI challenge: They may resist AI out of fear that it will replace people. They need assurance that it’s there to serve people, not get rid of them.
🦉 Owls: Use AI to analyze and explain
Owls don’t get swept up in hype. When they first encountered AI, they likely did some research before diving in. They probably asked where the data came from.
“I want to understand how this works before I use it.”
AI challenge: Owls may be skeptical of shortcuts and may spend a lot of time seeking the perfect AI tool.
Looking forward
AI is changing everything, from how we work to how we communicate to how we think. But your experience with AI won’t be defined by the tech itself. It will be defined by how you engage with it.
AI might write the future, but your personality is behind the keyboard.
